Publication ethics
OTTISK Magazine (The “Journal”) adheres to international standards of publication ethics based on the recommendations of the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics). This document defines the principles of responsible behavior for all participants in the publishing process.

● The journal guarantees honesty, transparency and impartiality at all stages of working with materials.
● The editorial board is guided by the principles of academic freedom, respect for the author and the reader, as well as scientific credibility.

2. Responsibilities of the authors
● The author guarantees that the submitted material is original and has not previously been published in full.
● It is prohibited to submit the same manuscript to several publications at the same time (duplicate publication).
● The author is obliged to correctly formalize the citation and indicate all the sources used in the work.
● Co-authorship is allowed only for persons who have made a significant intellectual contribution to the research.

● All participants in the publication process are required to declare potential conflicts of interest (financial, professional, personal).
● If there is a conflict, the editor, reviewer, or author is suspended from working with a particular manuscript.

7. Corrections, refutations, and reviews of articles
● If significant errors are found, the author has the right to request the publication of a correction (erratum).
● If errors cast doubt on the reliability of the results, the editorial board may initiate a review of the article (retraction) with the publication of an explanation.
● A review is not a sanction against the author if the error was acknowledged in good faith and in a timely manner.

● The author, reviewer or reader has the right to file a complaint with the editorial board in writing with a description of the nature of the violation.
● The editorial board reviews the application within 14 working days and informs the applicant about the measures taken.
● In case of disagreement with the editorial board’s decision, the issue may be referred to an independent arbitrator from the editorial board.
