IX Russian Philosophical Congress “Philosophy in the context of Modern Challenges”

On June 18-20, 2026, the next IX Russian Philosophical Congress (hereinafter referred to as the Congress) on the topic “Philosophy in the context of modern Challenges” will be held in St. Petersburg. Co-organizers of the event: Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Russian Philosophical Society, St. Petersburg State University.ty.

Groups of issues proposed for discussion at the Congress:
• Philosophical vision of the reality of a multipolar and multi-civilizational world towards which humanity is moving;ight: 400;”>
• Analysis of priorities and values guiding the civilizational development of Russia in the new realities;
<spa • Substantiation of the main directions of development of modern philosophy in the context of modern challenges;
0;”> • Definition of cultural and civilizational landmarks of Russian philosophy;
• Problems and prospects of teaching philosophy in modern Russia.

OTTISK magazine plans to integrate into the Congress program in the format of a special session or round table at the junction of the topics “multipolarity/multicivilizationality” and “the civilizational image of Russia.” This format will allow the journal to be included in the current philosophical discussion, correlate its thematic agenda with the key areas of the Congress and create a meaningful basis for subsequent publication work.
